Who We Are
The Eye of Veritas is an educational and social community ran out of VRChat that provides resources and discusses topics anywhere from science and philosophy to more esoteric topics like spirituality and mysticism‚ as well as host social events of various kinds․ We welcome people of all walks of life and origins․
We work with mentors that offer their time to teach people new things and help them grow, as well as other communities that promote resources for self growth․
We are also in the process of building a fully functional library in VRChat that will allow people to read complete literary works that could also be used to host lectures and lessons, such as math and science, along with works of fiction and storytelling.
Geeknificent (Director)
The owner and director of The Eye of Veritas Community.
Geeknificent is someone that values philosophy, knowledge, creativity, and free will. They have dedicated their time and energy to creating a place in virtual reality where people can explore and discover the full spectrum of what life has to offer both on the educational end and the social end of the spectrum.
Vowgan (Code Engineer)
One of the programmers and engineers for the E-reader System driving the library.
Vowgan is a developer that was on VRChat's development team and is now helping build the Monocle E-reader. They have significant expirence coding in UDON, the unity engine, and creating various Assets and user interfaces from scratch that people can use to interact with worlds and the virtual envronment.
They help code the core functionality of the Monocle UI as well as ensure that books are displaying properly within the monocle E-reader once loaded from our servers.
Bria (Code Engineer)
One of the developers for the E-reader system driving the liobrary.
Bria works in the video games industry developing software and user interfaces for big game companies. They code the software that allows the Monocle E-reader system to load and format book information from data stored in an external server into VRChat.
Kurtis (Network Engineer)
Kurtis is a technician with expirence in setting up servers and network services.
They help build the backbone of the Library's services and network so that we can store books and other content on our server to make available in the library.
Tera (World Builder)
Tera is a world artist that has created multiple worlds in vrchat over the years for multiple communities.
Tera works on the modeling, lighting, and texturing of the Library.
Soup (Librarian)
Soup is someone with expirence managing inventory and keeping records.
They currently help us sort through books and make sure they are tagged and organized properly so that users who search for content in the library are able to find them in ways that make sense. Such as searching by genre, ISBN, author or title.
Sneaky SpaceCat (Fitness Instructor)
Sneaky is a licensed fitness instructor that hosts fitness classes out of virtual reality in our community.
They care about fitness, health, good dieting, and general wellbeing. Their classes are designed to share that knowlege in a welcoming and friendly environment that is easily accessible regardless if you have a VR Headset or not.
Misplaced Misfit (Club Organizer)
Misfit is a social promoter and talent scout of ours, that goes around Virtual reality scouting DJ's and other musical tallent to bring to our social venus, Club Veritas to play music for us.
